Job description

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven, and dynamic Recruitment Specialist to handle the end-to-end hiring processes within the VP's Office. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the recruitment process, sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent across a variety of departments. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, create job postings, attract candidates, conduct interviews, and ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for hiring the right person for the right job within the timeline.
  2. Developing or implementing recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
  3. Reviewing candidates’ applications and job requisitions to ensure that candidates match the job requirements.
  4. Performing searches for qualified job candidates using sources such as computer databases, networking, recruitment website portals, media advertisements, and employee referrals.
  5. Filtering the applicants based on job requirements such as gender, nationality, experience, etc.
  6. Applying Boolean search and keywords for screening candidates' resumes.
  7. Interviewing job candidates to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.
  8. Selecting qualified candidates or referring them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
  9. Updating candidates with details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, and working conditions.
  10. Communicating with candidates to inform them of the status of their applications.
  11. Conducting reference or background checks on job candidates.
  12. Preparing job offers for selected candidates and explaining the job offers to them.
  13. Performing other tasks that might be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a recruiter, talent acquisition specialist, or similar role, preferably with UAE labor market experience.
  3. Strong understanding of recruitment techniques including interviewing and onboarding, preferably with solid experience in utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter search functionalities for passive candidate sourcing.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit for the organization.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and other HR software.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Knowledge of labor laws and recruitment best practices.
  9. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  10. Passion for finding top talent and creating a positive hiring experience.
