Established in 1979, my client is a privately-held, diversified company with operations in 12 countries in the Middle East and beyond. With over 7,900 employees from 100 different nationalities, the Group has its headquarters in Dubai, UAE.

My client operates leading, quality-focused businesses in automobile sales and service, luxury and lifestyle retail, perfumes and cosmetics distribution, engineering as well as interiors contracting.

Due to department expansion and restructuring, my client is looking for an HR Coordinator to join their fast-paced and extremely busy team. The main job purpose is to provide HR operational support to the business unit to meet the HR needs and objectives in an effective and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Organize selection process with indenting department and arrange for and conduct interviews, administer trade tests (where applicable) and shortlist/select suitable candidates to meet the manpower needs in an expeditious manner.
  2. Provide recruitment assistance to senior HR team and undertake recruitment activity for assigned position from sourcing to selection or as advised, in accordance with recruitment policy/established recruitment process for positions undertaken.
  3. Co-ordinate amongst recruiting agencies (where required), prospective candidates and the line managers to ensure that the recruitment process is carried through till the end and the vacancy is filled. Complete all necessary documentation with respect to each selection process, including antecedent verification, paperwork pertaining to visa requirement and feedback communication to unsuccessful candidates.
  4. Coordinate the joining formalities as well as induction and orientation with the concerned departments.
  5. Ensure applicable system updates, reports generation and record keeping in a timely and accurate manner.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in the field of Human Resources. You will have 2 to 3 years of experience in a recruitment role. Proficient in MS Office. Exposure to HR software solutions would be an advantage. Must have a good command of English, good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
