- Respond to Breakdowns and Accidents: Drive a recovery vehicle to the location of the breakdown or accident.
- Vehicle Recovery: Safely load and transport disabled or damaged vehicles using specialized equipment.
- Customer Assistance: Provide excellent customer service to stranded motorists, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Vehicle Inspection: Assess the extent of vehicle damage and determine the best course of action.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all recovery operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, and services rendered.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to provide timely updates and resolve issues.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on recovery vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Compliance: Adhere to all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous experience in towing or recovery services is preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
- Ability to operate and maintain tow trucks and other recovery vehicles.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
