Skillset: Receptionist, greeting visitors, helping them navigate through an office, MS Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint.

Job Description:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for welcoming the guests and members to the Health Club and providing them with assistance during their visit in order to meet or exceed their expectations whilst adhering to service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Hygiene standards are strictly monitored and followed.
  2. Quality audit results are 85% and above.
  3. When all the Recreation guests are 100% satisfied with the Recreation services.
  4. Receptionist is the first and last impression of the recreation, therefore must be very professional and create an experience for the guests.
  5. Greets all visitors to the Recreation in a warm and sincere manner, invites them to sign the consultation form.
  6. Provides them with assistance such as lockers, towels, bathrobes or information concerning our services and facilities in a prompt and efficient manner.
  7. For visitors interested in a membership at the Recreation, promotes the services by providing information and offering a tour of our facilities. Assists new members in filling out the membership application form correctly and endorses to the team.
  8. Handles all Recreation cashier transactions such as Retail, daily Recreation revenue or any other fees from guests then issues a receipt.
  9. Targets must be reached; a direct responsibility for revenue via upselling, bookings and retail is one of the main focus points.
  10. At the end of the shift balances the cash register.
  11. Receives all incoming telephone calls to the Recreation according to the hotel standards, provides/receives information, takes appropriate actions such as booking or refers the matter to the relevant persons to handle.
  12. Liaises with Recreation in case of bookings and/or cancellations from members/guests.
  13. Upon visitor's departure from the Recreation, thanks them for their visit and invites them to return.
  14. Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports to be completed with details.
  15. Makes handover report written and verbal if possible for the receptionist on the next shift. Before each shift reads handover report.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  1. Previous reception experience, preferably in the recreation area is an asset.
  2. Experience in working at guest-centric roles and ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
  3. Multitasking is a requirement.
  4. Telephone etiquette.
  5. Quick thinker, courteous and welcoming.
  6. Professional and well-groomed.
  7. Adaptable.
