UOP:

UOP is the recognized leader in developing and licensing process technology used by refiners and petrochemicals producers to produce gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and the building blocks for plastic and other products. UOP is pioneering technology to get plastics from natural gas and to get more valuable products out of every barrel of oil. UOP has also developed technology to produce real fuels from renewable energy sources, including Honeywell Green Diesel and Honeywell Green Jet Fuel, which was used to power the first transatlantic biofuel flight.

Responsibilities:

• Act as receptionist for the company (greeting customers/visitors, sending/receiving courier packages, running errands, producing copies)
• Supports general administrative needs (ordering supplies, mail sorting and delivery, assist in assembling and send sales proposals, etc.)
• Plans and c

• 5+ years of experience as an administrative assistant
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office package to include PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word, and Excel
• Must have excellent organization skills
• Ability to work with sensitive or confidential material and to maintain trust and confidentiality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills - ability to communicate at a high level with both internal personnel and external customers
• Capacity to work independently - plan, organize, coordinate, and follow through
• Ability to communicate at many levels in a team environment
• Experience handling and organizing complex travel schedules is a must
• Keen judgment and discretion
• Track record of continuous improvement and learning
• Excellent work ethic
• Productivity oriented
• Highly motivated, efficient and effective, self-starter
• Experience supporting a busy schedule
• High school diploma
• Spoken and written Arabic a plus
