We're seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Receptionist to join our front-of-house team in Dream Restaurant and lounge. The receptionist will be responsible for helping our team to ensure our guests receive the highest level of service by welcoming them to the venue as well as managing reservations. Located in the Address Beach Resort, DREAM combines the best of art, show and culinary. The ideal candidate will have proven reception experience and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
Principal Accountabilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Confirm reservations and assist with guest check-ins.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information on show times, menu options, and event details.
- Manage reservations through phone, email, and booking platforms, ensuring accuracy of guest information.
- Handle special requests such as dietary preferences, seating preferences, and VIP arrangements.
- Maintain the reservation book, ensuring all seats and events are properly allocated.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise promptly and professionally.
- Assist guests with directions, accommodations, and recommendations for shows, dining, and other services.
- Ensure that guests feel valued and cared for throughout their dining and entertainment experience.
- Maintain up-to-date guest lists and reservation details.
- Coordinate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth transitions from the reception area to seating.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as taking payments, processing tickets, and managing guest feedback.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, welcoming, and organized at all times.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or customer service role in a restaurant, hotel, or entertainment setting is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills, with a warm and professional tone.
- Strong dedication to providing outstanding guest service and ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and reservations with a high level of attention to detail.
- Familiarity with reservation software, POS systems, and general office tools (phone systems, email, etc.).
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak times for the venue.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance.
