Job Description

We are looking for a 6 years experienced React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Job Responsibilities and Required Skills

1. Firm grasp of the React Native JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances including ES6 syntax, DOM Manipulation, and the JavaScript object model.
2. Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming.
3. Ability to write well-documented clean JavaScript code.
4. Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
5. Familiarity with native build tools like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, and IntelliJ.
6. Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.
7. Proficient in React Native using Redux/Flux/MOBX and other associated build tools such as Gradle, XCode, React Native CLI, NPX, and Yarn.
8. Thorough understanding of React Native and its core principles.
9. Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial).
10. Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
11. Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
12. Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
13. Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
14. Experience with common frontend development tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
15. Experience with Native Mobile app deployment on App Store and Google Play Store.
