Rate and Distribution Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Rate and Distribution Analyst to join our Brand Systems Support team. The role will focus on monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting rate and inventory parity across GHAs online distribution channels while providing exceptional support to our member brand network.

The role is based in the GHA Head Office in Dubai and reports to the Brand Systems Support Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated support contact for our member brands utilising the Sabre Synxis platform
• Monitor rate and inventory parity across GHA channels and all of our member brands plus leading OTA distribution channels
• Identify and investigate parity discrepancies
• Collaborate with GHAs member brands to resolve parity issues and suggest corrective measures
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for Sabre Synxis-related inquiries
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on parity monitoring processes both internally and with our member brands
• Develop regular reports on parity performance metrics for member brands and internal stakeholders
• Train member brands on best practices for maintaining rate and inventory parity
• Train internal team members where needed on Sabre Synxis functionalities
• Act as the liaison between the internal teams in regards to Sabre SynXis functionalities and the GHA channel functionalities
• Actively organize and lead webinars and participate in committee working groups
• Stay current on Sabre Synxis platform updates and feature enhancements and communicate these internally and with our member brands where applicable
• Assist with rate loading and inventory management when needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in hospitality technology, revenue management, or related field
• Working knowledge of Sabre Synxis Central Reservation System
• Understanding of hotel distribution channels and parity concepts
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fluent written and spoken English is a must
• Customer service orientation with a proactive approach
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently, organize and self direct with minimal supervision
• Bachelor&aposs degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with channel managers and OTAs (Online Travel Agencies)
• Experience with Sabre SynXis channels, interfaces, CBE and SBE, Voice Agent functionalities
• Familiarity with revenue management principles and practices
• Knowledge of rate structures and room type configurations
• Experience with data visualisation tools
• Understanding of revenue management systems integration
