Quantity Surveyor Remeasurement

Responsibilities:

1. Is responsible for the remeasurement of selected subcontract packages.
2. Remeasures and evaluates changes from revised drawings in regular intervals in accordance with the contractual remeasurement rules and rates, and provides internal cost forecasts on that basis in close coordination with the relevant work package holder.
3. Documents all site-related changes, deviations, and claims in PIRS in close cooperation with the relevant work package holder and project procurement manager (the latter for process packages).
4. Participates in regular site meetings and discussions with subcontractors, verifying respective minutes of meeting.
5. Verifies and assesses final remeasurement per building section submitted by subcontractor, informs work package holder of its findings, and participates in subsequent discussions to reach agreement with subcontractor.
6. Informs Site Commercial Manager and work package holder on a regular basis about commercial risks and opportunities.
7. Supports Site Commercial Manager in the establishment of documentation for insurance purposes.
8. Maintains a constructive relationship within the team with other site personnel and subcontractors.
9. Performs role in accordance with applicable Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) legal and Management System requirements.

Qualifications:

• Quantity Surveyor.
• > 5 years experience.
• Experience in remeasuring work packages for the construction of industrial plants.
• Profound knowledge of applicable remeasurement rules (for civil CESMM4).
• Sound commercial knowledge.
• Familiar with applicable HSEQ legal requirements.
