Quantity Surveyor - Pre & Post Contract (Luxury Villa Projects)

Looking for experienced surveyors for pre + post contract QS for high-end Villas + Offices over 20,000 SQF fit-out projects in Dubai.

It is necessary for applicants to have deep technical knowledge and the ability to transform concept drawings into detailed component level BOQ ready for the procurement department to conduct a clear apple-to-apple bid process.

Responsibilities:

• Familiar with all major aluminum and glass manufacturers available in the local market (products and commercial rates).
• Familiar with all types of interior finishing materials popular in the local market (products and commercial rates).
• Familiar with basic MEP for high-end villas and office fit-outs.
• Having a clear understanding of the installation process and manpower requirements for the fit-out projects.
• Ability to extract and prepare clear tender packages for subcontracted disciplines such as Joinery, Aluminum, Glass, and flooring.
• Familiar with high-end joinery in residential and office environments, ability to create clear component level BOQs and lists of raw materials required to complete the project.
• Ability to assess provisional sums in the existing contracts, coordinate with the design department, and create detailed (component level) BOQs within agreed budgets.
• Ability to evaluate received tender drawings and guide the sales department on best practices, materials, and rates applicable for particular tenders.
• Ability to recognize and suggest value-engineering options in the tender stage as well as in post-contracts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Dubai-based fit-out company(s).
• Preferred candidates who can join immediately.
