Quantity Surveyor - Civil Infrastructure Background

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

5 Years of UAE Experience as QS in Civil Infrastructure is Mandatory

Role Description:

We are looking for Quantity Surveyors with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the same field and a bachelor's degree. This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor (QS). The QS will be responsible for day-to-day quantity surveying tasks, including quantity take-off, preparing measurement sheets, and cost estimation.

Qualifications:

1. Effective communication.
2. Preparation and submission of monthly progress payments.
3. Review of project drawings and specifications & preparation of Bill of Quantities.
4. Proficiency in quantity take-off/preparation of variations/extension of time/final accounts/FIDIC.
5. Prepare material & quantity take-off for civil & structural works as per material specifications and develop methods of measurement suitable for job requirements.
6. Quantity take-off, re-measurement/site measurements as required.
7. Reviewing & revising re-measured contracts at the time of project completion.
8. Preparation of variation orders/change orders for additional scope of work.
9. Submit final payment with all as-built drawings.
10. Evaluate site works and materials on-site included in the contractor’s payment requests.
11. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costing principles.
12. Review and recommendation of change orders and new rates.
13. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
14. Preparation and submission of claims.
15. Prepare comparative statements for different suppliers & subcontractors.
16. Prepare quantity variations as per tender & site conditions.
