Quantity Surveyor

Job Purpose:

To assist in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze cost estimates for residential and commercial building projects.
• Support the tendering process, including preparing tender documents and assisting in bid evaluations.
• Conduct cost control and cost planning throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate project costing.
• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports on project costs.
• Support contract negotiations and manage relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the industry, with a focus on pre-contract work.
• Experience in residential and commercial building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and tendering processes.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, cost estimation tools).
• Good communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
