Quantity Surveyor

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities

• Implementing cost controls and financial control procedures as outlined in the construction contracts.
• Measuring and assessing client’s variations to the construction works and contractor’s claims for changes.
• Evaluating contractor’s monthly interim payment applications.
• Identifying areas of concern and assessing their potential impact upon the project budget.
• Measuring site works from drawings and on-site including AutoCad measurement techniques.
• Assisting in the review of time extensions, delays and penalties.
• Preparing progress valuations in respect of interim monthly and final payments to contractors.
• Assessing, measuring, advising and recommending the cost impact of design changes.
• Preparing Change/Variation Orders and reporting upon cost impacts of such orders on the construction budget.
• Assisting in the reviews, assessments and reports upon contractor’s claims.
• Preparing project cost and cash flow reports.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 12 years of career experience partnered with a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
