Job Description

The Quality Technologist will be responsible for conducting standardized tests to determine the physical and chemical properties of raw materials (Line Samples) and finished products (Line Samples) and ensure that results comply with product specifications.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conducting laboratory analytical activities in compliance with good laboratory practices as per safety, health, quality, and environment standards.
2. Filling Line monitoring (Physical & chemical) - Product release for production based on initial release checks (pH, Brix, Product weight, Date Code, etc).
3. Performing critical checks (Brix, date code, packaging artwork) at the time of startup.
4. CCP monitoring - Ensuring CCP limits are as per the standards and updating accordingly.
5. Monitoring the effectiveness of machinery & tank cleaning by taking swabs as per the agreed schedules and on an hourly basis to confirm acceptance.
6. Working with pest control contractors and related departments to ensure that the site is free of pests.

Desired Candidate Profile

3-4 years of experience in the Dairy/Juice Manufacturing industry.

Experience working on UHT/Fresh products, familiarity with microbiological analysis and juice concentrates.
