Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a top-tier Transmission & Distribution company in the UAE. Our client is looking for a Quality Site Manager who will be responsible for establishing and implementing quality management systems on project sites. The role requires maintaining project documentation, preparing and implementing Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), coordinating inspections, ensuring compliance with standards, and conducting internal audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain project documentation including project numbering systems as per contract SOP; act as custodian and document controller.
Prepare, update, and implement the project Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
Prepare, review, submit, and obtain approval of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for equipment and method statements for civil, electrical, and testing activities.
Coordinate with customers for approval of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) reports, site inspections for material receipts, and witness testing and commissioning activities.
Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and coordinate with testing and commissioning agencies.
Assist the Project Manager with planning, supervision, NCR prevention, and corrective action implementation.
Coordinate with various departments (Design, Civil, Electrical, HSE, Commercial) to ensure compliance with the project QAP.
Monitor supplier and contractor performance per the approved Manufacturing Quality Plan (MQP).
Prepare and submit periodic QA/QC activity reports to the Head Office.
Ensure quality surveillance of site activities and conduct internal audits at the site.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in QA/QC is required.
ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification.
Experience in Overhead Transmission Line activities is required.
Expertise in EHV Equipment FAT, QAP, and installation procedures.
Frequent travel (30%-50%) required.
