Position: Quality Officer

Job description:

1. Product and recipe costing
2. Product catalogue review
3. Data entry in Oracle for new products
4. Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) to proceed with invoicing
5. Managing maintenance (Repair communication, Warehouse Project, Drainage & Toilet blockage, Building issues, Light & AC Issues, Water Connections, etc.)
6. Government-related tasks (Commercial License, Health Cards of Staffs, Building Permits, Vehicle Registrations)
7. Involve with product registration for import/export
8. DM Food Watch Daily Inspection for Boutique
9. Food safety / HACCP inspections (internal and external)
10. Able to comply with Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) regulations and provide trainings.
11. Pest control management
12. Fire Safety management
13. Conduct internal food safety audits and recommend corrective action if necessary.
14. Inspect and supervise workplaces to ensure that workers are protected from dangerous chemicals or unsafe conditions.
15. Inspect work space and machinery to verify that it is safe, calibrated, and maintained properly.
16. Prepare training programs, assign cleaning/work schedules, monitor sick leave due to communicable diseases.
17. Review and monitor HACCP/GMP system in the facility.
18. Conduct inspections and audits of food suppliers to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene.
19. Ensure that all food is handled, prepared, stored, and transported as per regulatory requirements.
20. Investigate customer complaints and/or product rejections and provide solutions.
21. In charge of annual external contracts (e.g. pest control, fire & gas safety, water tank disinfection, external trainings, laboratory analysis, waste disposal).
22. Conduct internal hygiene & food safety trainings to product handlers.
23. Highly involved in product development, recipe improvement, and costing.
24. Submit monthly reports (e.g. hygiene issues).
25. Use Netsuite Oracle in data entry of recipes in the system.
26. Handle HSE requirements in the company.
27. Product registration and label assessment for Dubai Municipality application.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS Food Technologist or Industrial Engineer
• Relevant experience in Food Manufacturing for 3-5 years in the same field
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and MS Excel
• ISO 22000 Auditor license and OHS certification is highly preferable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
