Quality Manager- Structural Steel

Job Responsibilities

1. Leading the QA/QC department and providing guidance with reference to the codes and standards.
2. Technical review of the Project specification during bidding & before execution & assisting the sales team related to technical clarification during bidding.
3. Preparation of Project specific Inspection and Test Plan, Quality Procedures related to welding and coating & Project Quality Plans.
4. Preparation of audit plans and audit schedules for the internal audits within the organization.
5. Review the audit findings and prepare audit reports and NCRs if any.
6. Attending the Weekly Quality Meetings & Progress meetings along with clients.
7. Preparing the QMS, FPC, WMS, AISC & ISO Audit related documents & attending External Audits.
8. Monitor an efficient system, record project activities, and analyze all processes to ensure all work meets quality requirements.
9. Conducting meetings along with subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers & manufacturers for technical matters.
10. Recruiting for positions related to the Quality Control Inspector & calculating the monthly department overhead cost.
11. Manage all work methods, maintain quality assurance standards, monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes, and recommend corrective actions for all operations.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's in Civil/Structural or related Engineering.
2. Must have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in Quality Management within the Steel Fabrication business segment in UAE, of which at least 10+ years in a managerial scope of responsibilities.
3. The ideal candidate must have experience in UAE.
