Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Leadership
    • Lead and coordinate the OKQU quality team (O/H and Project) with a focus on standardisation, verification, continuous improvement, leading practice and communication.
    • Engage with leadership and the broader business to champion sponsorship and a focus on quality in projects and across each discipline.
    • Increase levels of interaction with the quality team, assurance and operations – meetings, networks, and other forums.
    • Improve interaction and coordination between Quality and other functions, especially Project Delivery, Engineering, Contracts and Procurement.
    • Develop, support and mentor our key quality personnel.
    • Understand the contractual relationship for New Energy projects so that quality efforts can be focussed to the areas of greatest risk exposure.
  • Enhance Quality Capability to Create Value
    • Develop trending and analysis capability focused on quality themes to strengthen insights for decision-making.
    • Manage and refine the OKQU Assurance Plan activities by focusing activity on key risks and opportunities for improvement.
    • Coordination of ISO 9001:215 certification activities.
  • Drive a program of continuous improvement – Quality ERB
    • Drive a continuous improvement program for Quality.
    • Instigate a Quality Event Review Board process in the business to raise the profile of quality.
    • Support the implementation of a cost-of-quality process.
    • Work with the WES to automate the development of verification and surveillance checklists.
    • Support the Quality Performance & Quality Event Leadership Response expectations.
  • Networks and Collaboration
    • Collaborate globally to share best practices.
    • Contribute to the success of relevant internal and external quality networks.
    • Assist with the coordination of Regional Networks as required.
  • Champion the use of the Management and Knowledge Systems and Standard Worley Tools
    • Promote the use of the Worley Management and Knowledge Systems.

Job Specific Knowledge

  • Extensive knowledge of risk, quality, health, safety, sustainability business and project processes and practices.
  • Ability to create detailed strategy and plans to assess and improve the quality and effectiveness of Assurance and Project Delivery processes.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform and direct detailed analysis.
  • Data dexterity to match different data sets to produce insightful information.

Industry Specific Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in senior quality or risk roles.
  • Significant exposure to HSS processes and systems.
  • Experience in the Middle East with a preferred background in the Oil & Gas and New Energy sectors.
  • Experience on major or large projects, leading quality programs.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

  • Minimum requirement - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Information Technology/Engineering/Science.
  • Lead Auditor qualifications and experience.
  • Expert in MS Office applications, MS SharePoint, PowerBI.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).

  • Involved in the development of new systems and processes.
  • Assessment skills and experience to develop Terms of Reference.
