Quality Inspector

Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for thoroughly examining and testing parts/products to ensure they meet established quality standards, identifying defects, reporting issues to relevant teams, and guaranteeing that only high-quality products are shipped to customers while adhering to internal company procedures.

The Quality Inspector will be based in Emerson, Dubai, UAE. This role is 100% in the office, mostly working in the office.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Incoming Inspection of parts and components as per Rosemount parts Inspection plan and customer approved drawing
• Initiation of Material review
• Manage processes to quarantine, review, and disposition nonconforming material
• Actively participate in analyzing the root cause of issues with suppliers
• Verify interco component part quality once returned to the floor and report on inbound quality
• External supplier parts analysis to understand parts & process failure
• Support SPE on inspection for Direct sourcing process
• Actively participate in process improvement team
• Perform in-house calibration verification of instruments using Master instrument
• Perform preventive maintenance of all inspection tools
  • Selection of equipment calibration service provider and calibration requirements
• Perform project inspection at Hub and at supplier site as per inspection plan
• Support CC team to close customer comments on inspection
• Actively participate in revising quality-related procedures
• Update Emetrology and equipment calibration process
• Manage product hold & NC
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervision
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For This Role You Will Need:

• Technical Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
• 2 to 3 years of functional experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis tools

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledgeable in ASTM/ASME standards
• ISO 9001 knowledge
• Experience in performing mechanical and electrical parts inspection
• Knowledge of Rosemount products
