Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage quality assurance and control processes across all construction projects.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and policies to ensure project compliance with specifications and standards.
3. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality checks at project sites.
4. Prepare and maintain detailed quality assurance and control reports for management and clients.
5. Identify, document, and resolve quality issues in collaboration with project managers and site teams.
6. Review and approve materials, equipment, and methods to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
7. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met.
8. Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality assurance processes and standards.
9. Monitor compliance with UAE construction regulations, safety codes, and industry best practices.
10. Continuously improve processes to enhance quality and efficiency in project delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Experience:
   1. 5-10 years of experience as a Quality Engineer with a minimum of 6 years in the UAE.
   2. Strong background in quality assurance and control in construction projects.
2. Technical Skills:
   1. Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
   2. Proficiency in quality control tools and software.
   3. Familiarity with UAE construction standards and safety regulations.
   4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Soft Skills:
   1. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
   2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with teams and stakeholders.
   3. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
4. Educational Background:
   1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
