Quality Controller - Commercial Vehicle & Equipment Division

Purpose of the Job:

Provide excellent quality service to ensure satisfaction is delivered consistently while following the company's vision.

Job Accountabilities:

1. Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate these objectives with other managers.
2. Test the vehicle identified by the Deputy Workshop Manager, after ensuring that the vehicle registration is valid, and that the related Registration Card is present in the vehicle.
3. Analyze statistical data and product specifications to formulate dealership standards.
4. Minimize comebacks by conducting periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
5. Investigate and correct customer complaints regarding quality.
6. Inform the Deputy Workshop Manager of repetitive incidents and events identified on the same model.
7. Inspect all recently purchased and comeback vehicles to ensure proper correction and condition of the vehicle.
8. In case of nonconformity, return the car to the Mechanic/Electro-Mechanical Technician, and inform the Deputy Workshop Manager and Time Controller. Perform the test again, after the nonconformance is rectified.
9. Inspect all repair orders and ensure that they include complete documentation and that proper warranty procedures have been followed.
10. Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
11. Indicate to the Deputy Workshop Manager the personnel several times involved in workmanship defects.
12. Be responsible for effective coverage of the assigned territory.
13. Comply and implement the local laws and client's requirements related to QHSEMS aspects at the workplace, as per the bestowed authority and responsibility.
14. Carry out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by the line manager.

Qualifications & Education:

ITI / Diploma

Experience:

5-6 years in heavy commercial vehicle as Senior Mechanic/Team Lead Heavy Bus & Truck. DL preferable.

Knowledge & Skills:

Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage. Computer knowledge.
