Quality Control Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our expanding team in our Al Quoz facility in Dubai! The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of Chef Middle East standards, municipality regulations, facility management, and quality assurance of our seafood products. Candidates should have experience in food quality, have a HACCP L3 certification, and possess excellent attention to detail. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!

Key responsibilities:

• Help production staff to achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results
• Implement strategies and techniques to improve the quality and standards
• Manage the shift without any issues or manage the day to day issues related to quality and standards
• Complete the daily necessary documentation and entries
• Support the production supervisors to set up a proper work flow and complete the work on time
• Contact appropriate sources for sampling and analysis; maintain the records
• Prepare and maintain specification sheets for all products
• Support Production Manager for customer visits and factory tours
• Maintain the supplier evaluations and records
• Examine and receive stocks based on production needs and quality standards
• Counsel employees on how to achieve an optimal output or workflow
• Create and maintain professional schedules
• Align with Production Manager and Category Manager for improvement plans

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven 2 years of experience in a Quality Control role in the seafood industry is a must
• Certified with HACCP Level 3 qualification is a must
• Diploma/Bachelor's degree of food processing/food science/micro biological courses from any established university is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excel/Microsoft office knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Flexible to work long hours as required to meet project deadlines
