Job Description

We seek a Quality Checker to join our ERW Pipes & Tubes plant in Dubai. In this role, you will manage day-to-day QC activities on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect incoming Raw Material and verify compliance with TDC and material test certificates.
2. Visually Inspect for surface defects like rust, cracks, dents, etc.
3. Measure dimensions, thickness, and pipe characteristics per Standard in the Work Order.
4. Monitor pipe forming, welding, and sizing processes as per Standard.
5. Check weld seams using NDT methods (ultrasonic, eddy current).
6. Conduct mechanical tests (tensile, flattening, bend, impact).
7. Inspect coatings for thickness and adhesion.
8. Maintain accurate records and reports.
9. Ensure compliance with ASTM A53 and other international standards.

What You Need:

1. 2 to 3 years of experience with ERW Pipes and Tubes Manufacturer.
2. Material testing and knowledge of all international Standards.
3. Attention to detail, good communication skills, and a commitment to quality.
