Quality Assurance System Tester

GAC is looking for a talented Quality Assurance System Tester with experience of Test Automation Frameworks to test Rest APIs, Web/HTML, Databases (Relational & Non-Relational), XML files, etc.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing Test Automation framework from scratch, be comfortable doing manual testing, take responsibility conducting UATs with customers, be able to troubleshoot production issues, willing to mentor other QAs and adhere to industry best practices. The role also demands coordination with both external customers and internal teams. A minimum of 5 years’ Test Automation experience is required.

Job requirements

1. A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or equivalent
2. Around 5 years of professional experience of Test Automation
3. Experience on web automation testing using Selenium
4. Experienced building API Test Automation Frameworks from scratch
5. Experience using Postman, SOAP UI, REST Assured
6. Scripting and running load tests on JMeter with complex scripting and recorded tests
7. Basic knowledge on SQL queries
8. Basic knowledge on API security and token-based authentication oAuth 2.0, JWT
9. Preferably ISTQB certified Software Tester
10. Preferably working experience on Cucumber / SpecFlow
11. Agile certification would be a plus
12. Testing experience of Desktop and/or Mobile applications would be a plus
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
14. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel
15. Cultural awareness within a multi-cultural corporate environment
16. Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships across IT and non-IT teams
17. Proactively communicate and escalate issues that might impact quality
