Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Role Description:

The successful candidate will support the preparation and issuance of project-specific Quality Plans, QA/QC processes, and procedures in compliance with the client’s quality requirements. They will monitor that these are implemented effectively, as assigned by the Quality Manager (QM).

Responsibilities

1. Perform QA audits (internal and/or external), reviews, surveillances, and follow-ups on multiple sites on a weekly basis, ensuring the Contractors team complies with all applicable codes, specifications, approved method statements, inspection test plans, and construction drawings, as well as carrying out snagging and de-snagging reviews.
2. Identify and report to the Project Manager on quality issues or trends based on data from a variety of sources and present a monthly KPI dashboard.
3. Support the implementation of appropriate corrective actions to quality issues, assessing Contractor technical submittals of PQPs, MS & ITPs, Material Test Reports, and NCRs.
4. Provide input to QM on project performance metrics and process or procedural system improvements.
5. Coordinate the Lessons Learnt process for the project, following up with project personnel and reporting accordingly.
6. Participate in Quality Meetings.
7. Assume additional responsibilities as directed by the respective Manager.
8. Apply related statistical techniques to measure the healthiness of the project in terms of Quality and report the findings on a regular basis.
