Hiring: QA/QC Engineer (RTA Project)

We are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer (QA/QC Engineer) responsible for ensuring that all construction and engineering projects meet the required quality standards, codes, and specifications. The candidates should be a minimum of Civil Engineering Graduate having 7 years’ experience in QA/QC activities in Civil & Infra projects. RTA experience is an advantage. If the candidate is a lead auditor, it is an advantage. Minimum, internal auditor in ISO 9001 standards. Preferably, the candidate should be based in the UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Snr. QA/QC Engineer
• Lead the quality inspectors of all disciplines for effective quality control works, inspection, testing, Work Inspection Request approvals and records maintenance.
• Assist for Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) preparation for the works.
• Conduct work inspections according to the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and supervise vendor inspection activities as per scope of work.
• Assist in Quality Induction & workshops/Training for Project and subcontractors on quality requirements and correct working methods
• Assist in quality audits on Subcontractors / Suppliers, report compliances and follow-up the close outs of non-compliance.
• Coordinate with the other departments for close-outs of Non-Conformance Reports & CAPAR’s
• Assist in follow up with the Employer’s Representative’s approval and close out of NCRs/CAPAR’s
• Assist in preparing and implementing the necessary Procedures, Work Instructions and checklists relating to quality.
• Attend meetings on quality matters with the Employer’s quality team, when necessary.
• Prepare the monthly quality report to the Employer’s Representative & Corporate office.
• Monitor completion status of the works and ensure works compliance records are complete.
• Coordinate with the laboratory teams & ensure that the materials test & compliance records are maintained.
• Coordinate with the testing and commissioning team and maintain compliance records.
• Conduct and assist in final inspections of the works & handover, documentation and monitor action on closing out the snags following the project closeout procedures.

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate in Civil Engineering discipline with 7 years’ experience in Civil & Infra projects (Roads, utilities, bridges/structures) RTA project experience is preferred.
• Awareness on ISO 9001 Standards and requirements. Internal auditor in ISO 9001 is preferred.
