Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Role Objective:

To identify and plan activities related to the quality management system and provide assurance to fulfill the requirements of quality standards. To develop a ‘quality culture’ within the Amana team in order to maintain the continuity of the quality enhancement process.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Coordinates with the external certification bodies for the certification and surveillance audit of the business units.
2. Assures that the quality management system is properly implemented in the business units, through periodical internal audits and provides a full audit report to the B.U management.
3. Prepares Quality Assurance report by creating key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the current processes such as number of nonconformance reports, number of change requests, volume of rework, etc.
4. Determines the root causes of the nonconformities and improves the processes by eliminating them and enhancing the continual improvement of the quality standards at the business unit.
5. Facilitates the processes revisions, updates and keeps the related documents tracked, controlled and distributed to required personnel.
6. Studies Tender/project documents and prepares tender/project quality plan for submission.
7. Maintains all records and documents identifiable, retrievable, and secured against deterioration or loss.
8. Assists in the training and development of personnel in the QA/QC department.
9. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's in engineering (Architect, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical).

Experience:

1. Minimum of 3 years.
