Job Description

• Perform detailed cost estimation for construction projects, ensuring accuracy in quantities and pricing.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
• Prepare comprehensive tender documents and assist in the pre-qualification of contractors.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to achieve the best value for the project.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and provide regular financial reports.
• Utilize specialized software tools for cost estimation and project tracking to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct site visits to gather accurate data for cost analysis and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and labor rates to inform estimation processes.
• Facilitate communication between all stakeholders to ensure transparency and clarity in cost-related matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost estimation within the construction industry.
• Professional certification such as MRICS or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Proficient in estimation software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or similar tools for accurate calculations.
