QC NDT Inspector (ASNT Level II)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC NDT Inspector specializing in cladding inspection for the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will hold ASNT, PCN, ISO and ACCP Level II or equivalent certifications in UT (Ultrasonic Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing), and VT (Visual Testing). A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in NDT inspection, particularly in cladding applications, is required. Experience working on ADNOC projects is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform NDT inspections (UT, MT, PT, VT) on cladding materials and components in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality control processes are followed and project deadlines are met.
• Conduct inspections in adherence to safety protocols and ensure compliance with HSE guidelines.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior inspectors and project personnel.
• Liaise with clients, third party inspectors and certification bodies to ensure alignment on quality expectations and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

• ASNT Level II certifications in UT, MT, PT, and VT are mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in NDT inspection, specifically in cladding for the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience working on ADNOC projects is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ASTM).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and in challenging environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with advanced NDT techniques and equipment.
• Experience with computerized NDT systems and software.
• Knowledge of welding processes and materials used in cladding applications.
