QC Inspector

Job Description

1. Quality Control
2. Ensure all construction civil activities comply with project specifications, approved shop drawings, approved method of statements.
3. Conduct inspections for materials, workmanship, and final products prior to consultant inspections and ensure project quality standards and company quality standards are maintained.
4. Inspection & Testing
5. Perform regular site inspections and material testing as per approved method statements and authority requirements and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
6. Verify concrete pouring, reinforcement, blockwork, plastering, and finishing work meet the required standards.
7. Snagging and de-snagging prior to consultant inspections and reporting to QA/QC engineers.
8. Documentation & Reporting
9. Maintain detailed inspection records, test results, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure corrective actions and close are recorded and taken approval from engineer.
10. Prepare and submit daily and weekly quality reports to the QA/QC Engineer.
11. Submission of test results for consultant review and approval.
12. Issue internal NCR to sub-contractor for Non-conformance.
