We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced QA/QC Inspector to join our growing team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with all applicable regulations and specifications.
As a QA/QC Inspector you will be required to:
- Develop, implement and maintain project-specific quality plans, procedures and checklists.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor and verify the quality of materials, workmanship and construction activities.
- Identify and document any nonconformances, deviations or potential risks.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors and clients to address quality-related issues and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests and corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit regular quality reports to project management and clients.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, codes and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field preferred with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a QA/QC Inspector in the civil engineering industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards and regulations (e.g. ACI, ASTM, IBC).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using Office Tools, software and relevant inspection software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
