QAQC Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist Project Manager to prepare project reports.
2. Perform specialist QA/QC techniques on critical structures and processes.
3. Prepare all necessary documents and attachments for the inspection and testing requirement.
4. Review the mechanical and landscape works checklist, as-built drawing and related quality control documents for final dossier.
5. Site inspection and coordinate construction to implement the work completed in compliance with code in accordance with specifications. Coordinate inspections with Consultant/Client and communicate with the project team.
6. Coordinate with the client for inspection activities issued RFI (Request for Inspection) for witness/hold point etc.
7. Report deviations from approved plans and specifications.
8. Review all materials received on the site, inspecting them, ensuring they are as per approval.
9. Conduct testing within the required specification and monitor the frequency of testing.
10. Attend and participate in QA/QC meetings.
11. Proactively supervise the closure of NCRs, suggesting innovative ideas for improvement.
12. Liaise with the construction execution team management to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
13. Overall quality supervision for MEP and landscape works.
14. During site inspection, follow safety rules & regulations in different hazardous areas.
15. Comply, implement and participate in the improvement of established ISO QMS & EHSMS procedures/documentation and maintain records.
16. Ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
17. Support and promote all QHSE policies and procedures implemented by the company.
18. Prepare PQP, ITP, and other QA/QC documents that may be requested by Project Manager.
19. Review material submittals and their compliance statements before forwarding to consultants for approval.
20. Review shop drawings before submission to consultant. Prepare O & M Manuals in coordination with the site management team.
21. Inspect sites daily with consultants.
22. Maintain a log and visit the store with the consultant for permanent material inspection.
23. Coordinate for internal quality audits.
24. Close the NCRs in coordination with Management Representative/Quality Manager.
25. Interact with the project team regarding Quality requirements.
26. Complete the testing and commissioning tasks at project(s) as per project progress.
27. Maintain all QA and QC documents legible.
28. Conduct factory visits for testing of different equipment such as Standby Generators, Fire Fighting Pumps, etc. before dispatching to site.
29. Supervise the work of quality service providers and inspectors.

3. Knowledge of Quality Management.
4. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. 8 - 12 years of experience as QAQC in contracting companies within Gulf for the execution of MEP and landscape services related to construction or agriculture industry.
8. Bachelor's degree in Agricultural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
