Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to identify potential quality issues before production.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, including documentation and reporting of inspection results.
• Coordinate with other departments to address quality concerns and facilitate timely corrective actions.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques to evaluate material integrity and detect defects.
• Lead root cause analysis for non-conformance issues, providing actionable solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights on quality-related matters and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Maintain a detailed inspection log and generate quality reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure the organization meets the highest quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, providing a solid foundation in mechanical principles.
• Certification in Quality Control (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) to validate expertise in quality assurance practices.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical inspection within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs, essential for accurate measurements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, enabling thorough inspections and effective problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and collaboration with team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Physical stamina and capability to perform inspections in various settings, including confined spaces and elevated areas.
• Fluency in English, with additional language skills being a plus, to facilitate communication with diverse teams.
