Responsible for all quality inspections carried out during construction activities with approved quality documents and drawings.
Responsible for the preparation of all types of WPS, PQR, and WQT as per organization and project requirements. Maintained welders' records and updated all welding work-related logs.
Reporting on all site activities on a weekly and monthly basis to the Lead QA/QC.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement Project Quality Plan requirements and comply with client quality requirements.
- Develop and implement inspection and test plans for project activities.
- Prepare mechanical works-related method statements and follow up on implementation at site works.
- Carry out quality control inspections as per approved ITP with associated check sheets.
- Maintain quality documents in compliance with ISO 9001 standard requirements.
- Forecast inspection requirements and available resources prior to starting inspection activities.
- Raise RFI to the client for quality inspection on project activities.
- Report nonconformities of products and services to the quality manager.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive measures on products and services to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Ensure and maintain the calibration of all welding and site equipment, updating the log on a regular basis and sharing it with the end user.
- Check weld joint preparation fit-up, alignment, and dimensions as per the drawings and project requirements.
- Liase with the construction team on quality compliance requirements.
- Ensure the responsibilities and inspection checkpoints are fulfilled as per approved ITP.
- Maintain quality documents and submit the dossier to the client prior to project completion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. Tech in Electronic and Instrumentation)
OR
Diploma degree (B. Tech in Electrical and Instrumentation)
Additional Information:
Well-versed in QMS, good communication skills, E&I inspection skills, customer focus, and good knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to work in multitask disciplines.
Previously approved by ADNOC for onshore and offshore jobs.
