Responsible for all Mechanical Quality inspections, carry out the construction activities with approved quality documents and drawings.
Responsible for the preparation of all types of WPS, PQR, and WQT as per organization and project requirements. Maintained welders' records and updated all welding work-related logs.
Reporting on all site activities on a weekly and monthly basis to the Lead QA/QC.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement Project Quality Plan requirements and comply with client quality requirements.
- Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans for the project activities.
- Preparation of mechanical works related Method Statements and follow up on the implementation at site works.
- Carry out quality control inspections as per approved ITP with associated check sheets.
- Maintain quality documents compliance with ISO 9001 standard requirements.
- Forecast inspection requirements and available resources prior to starting the inspection activity.
- Raise RFI to the client for quality inspection on project activity.
- Report non-conformities of products and services to the quality manager.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive measures on products and services to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Preparation of all types of welding (SMAW, GMAW & GTAW) WPS, PQR, WQT and preparation of quality procedures and method statements.
- Preparation of Brazing BPS, BPQR, BQT as per ASME Section IX.
- Conducting Welder’s Qualification Tests as per ASME Section IX, API 1104, etc.
- Ensure and maintain the calibration of all welding and site equipment, update the log on a regular basis, and share it with the end user.
- Check weld joint preparation, fit-up, alignment & dimensions as per the drawings and project requirements.
- Liase with the construction team on quality compliance requirements.
- Ensure the responsibilities inspection checkpoints are fulfilled as per approved ITP.
- Maintain quality documents and submit the dossier to the client prior to project completion.

Well knowledge of QMS, good communication skills, E&I inspection skills, customer focus, and good knowledge in MS Office.
