Job Description

1. Assist the QC function where required (Perform dimensional checks on precision machined components and issue NCRs where needed)
2. Reviewing supplier QC packs (material certificates, NDT, heat treatment and coating reports, etc.)
3. Perform in-process and final inspections based on API and product specific procedures and work instructions
4. Perform final product release inspection as required to support the business
5. Travel to our other facilities as required
6. Participate in contract reviews and identify quality requirements based on API and other product standards
7. Perform dimensional checks on products and steel structures including the quality of welding
8. Able to run welding procedures and welder tests, document results and maintain validity extensions
9. Perform internal audits and API certification body audit, analyze findings, and issue corrective actions where needed
10. Perform supplier evaluations and report findings
11. Analyze quality problems to identify root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
12. Review and close supplier NCRs and ensure that updated documents in a timely manner.
13. Assist the facility management teams to maintain the management system

Desired Candidate Profile

1. 4-5 years QAQC experience in a manufacturing facility in oilfield manufacturing or similar
2. Must be a Diploma Engineer in Mechanical / Metallurgical or any other relevant Engineering Degree
3. Experience in API Quality Auditing and ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
4. Knowledge on API Q1 and 5 CT standard requirements
5. Ability to perform dimensional inspection on precision machined components
6. Knowledge of welding, heat treatment, NDT, and coating processes - Hands-on experience in measurement of various products
7. Ability to independently work to written procedure and work instruction
8. Knowledge of codes and standards
9. Excellence in planning and organizing skills
10. High level of analytical skills, computer proficiency and fluent in English.
11. Must be flexible to work.

Plans and coordinates QAQC activities, ensuring quality control of the work in accordance to API requirements. Follow up ongoing project activities, ensure that all are fully complied with ITP & QCP, and perform the internal inspection before submitting the ITR. Follow up third party testing facility and activities and report as per the QCP, ITP and maintain the records of test and inspection, perform audits, manage certification and customer audits. The role will require you to work independently and ensure that QAQC activities are completed in a timely manner. Our facilities are involved in design, manufacture, service and supply of oil and gas products and other industry.
