QA/QC Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Review and monitor material specifications and quality standards, workflow, processes, etc., and recommend adjustments if needed in order to comply with company policies, client, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct and coordinate regular inspections, ensuring that work, products, and documentation are prepared in advance.
• Address quality issues immediately and coordinate with concerned personnel to discuss measures to minimize quality risk.
• Prepare and review all inspection reports for compliance.
• Prepare and regularly (weekly) submit reports and maintain QC records.
• Prepare QA/QC Performance Reports weekly, monthly, and annually, including non-conformance trend analysis and remedial actions, and submit to the Employer.
• Ensure that the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements are implemented by the Contractor on site, coordinating the required hold points with the Project Team.
• Conduct Quality or technical compliance audits for Contractors, Sub Contractors, or Vendors.
• Review QA/QC Procedures submitted by Contractors to ensure implementation is in compliance with AGREEMENT requirements.
• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system and recommend improvements when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience as QA/QC in Oil & Gas in UAE in a similar position or above.
