Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced QA/QC Engineer to ensure the quality of our fit-out and joinery projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of QA/QC processes. You will be responsible for implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all materials and work comply with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and protocols in line with industry standards and project requirements.
2. Inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
3. Conduct regular site inspections and internal audits to assess and improve the effectiveness of QA/QC processes.
4. Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, tests, and audits.
5. Identify and document non-conformances, develop corrective and preventive actions, and ensure their implementation.
6. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality standards.
7. Train staff and workers on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
8. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and regulations.
9. Address customer complaints and quality issues promptly and effectively.
10. Promote continuous improvement in QA/QC processes and implement innovative solutions to enhance quality standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC in the fit-out and joinery industry.
3. Strong understanding of QA/QC principles and practices.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
8. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
