QA QC Engineer

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer with experience in civil and building work to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and policies for civil and building work projects
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Review and approve project quality plans, method statements, and inspection and test plans
• Identify and report any quality issues or nonconformities and work with the project team to resolve them
• Conduct quality control tests and inspections on materials, equipment, and workmanship
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation including reports, records, and certificates
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project quality requirements are met
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on quality-related matters
• Conduct training and workshops for project personnel on quality management and best practices
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on quality issues and progress
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to quality management and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in QA/QC for civil and building work projects
• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO
• Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using quality control tools and software.
