Position: Senior QA/QC Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer for our team.

Role

Execute the QA QC activities of the project, from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to project schedule, specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

The individual will be responsible for (but not limited to):

1. Coordinate/follow up with subcontractors, for material submittals and various document submittals, ensuring adherence to the submittal schedule.
2. Review subcontractor's submittals, including material submittals and document submittals, for accuracy, quality and incorporation of relevant information.
3. Coordinate and conduct internal material inspections with subcontractors to verify compliance with the specifications.
4. Coordinate and conduct material inspections with consultants.
5. Ensure all rejected materials from internal and consultant inspections are tagged and removed from the site.
6. Coordinate and conduct internal work inspections with subcontractors to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
7. Coordinate and conduct work inspections with consultants and communicate the inspection comments to a subcontractor for implementation.
8. Conduct site surveillance and identify and record the deficiencies.
9. Coordinate with subcontractors, third-party laboratories and consultants for various field tests.
10. Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented on-site to prevent recurring NCRs.
11. Conduct internal inspections to verify the implementation of corrective actions.
12. Coordinate/follow up with subcontractors for the project close-out documents.
13. Coordinate and conduct internal snagging with subcontractors and prepare internal snag list.
14. Coordinate and conduct snagging inspections with consultants.
15. Coordinate with subcontractors to complete the corrective actions and conduct internal inspections to verify the implementation.
16. Coordinate and conduct inspections with consultants to close the snags recorded.

Requirements/Qualifications

B Eng, BTEC, ND in Civil Construction.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction, preferably fit-out works. Civil Engineer strongly recommended.

Other Skills / Abilities

QA/QC accreditation with a professional body.
Proficiency in data analysis/reporting.
