Line of Service Overview

Our Middle East Assurance practice includes over 2,300 people based in 12 countries across the region and is part of PwC’s global network that is operating worldwide. PwC Middle East’s Assurance practice combines the right mix of human-led and tech-powered solutions to provide our clients with quality audits and other risk services that create confidence and impact in our region and across society.

As a member of the Assurance Academy team, you’ll help organise, plan, and administer a unique PwC programme offering assurance professionals the opportunity to broaden their skills and develop real business experiences applicable to all major business and industry groups.

What is expected from you?

Your job duties will include but will not be limited to:

  1. Supports the Academy in meeting business targets across the region.
  2. Implement activities which help growth of revenue streams from the priority clients and other targeted client accounts by leveraging internal teams from the LoS and Clients and Markets team.
  3. Work with solution design team to respond to RFQs / RFPs in a timely manner.
  4. Plan approaches and pitches for RFQs / RFPs with the right SMEs.
  5. Prepare engagement letters and agreements with clients.
  6. Conduct the entire BD process from lead generation and negotiation to closing and post-sales follow up.
  7. Prospect and meet clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
  8. Identify and build strong relationships with key personnel for client interaction and engagement.
  9. Conduct market research and related events in the industry including announcements, tracking competitors’ activities to develop unique selling points and game changers for the business.
  10. Ownership and maintenance of client and proposals repository.
  11. Research and understand the firm and people’s capabilities.
  12. Liaise with the Director of BD to plan, organise and execute annual budgets.
  13. Provide trend analysis and research for new product launches.

  2. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment.
  3. Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus.
  4. Background and experience in Business development and sales in UAE.
  5. Experience in professional training services preferred.
  6. Business development and client relationship building skills.
  7. Willingness to challenge the ‘norms’ and to create a cohesive and effective working team.
  8. Excellent project management skills.
  9. Knowledge in using technologies, and experience using Data Analytics tools is a plus.
  10. Commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
