Purchase Manager (from AAC block Industry only)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to AAC block materials to optimize cost and quality.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best prices while ensuring timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential vendors and assess their reliability and product quality.
• Collaborate with production teams to forecast material requirements based on project timelines and demands.
• Manage supplier relationships to foster long-term partnerships and address any performance issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels of AAC block materials and initiate purchase orders to prevent stockouts.
• Analyze and report on procurement metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with finance departments to ensure timely payment processing and budget adherence.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the sourcing process to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in procurement processes and supplier selection.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement within the construction materials or AAC blocks industry.
• Proven track record in negotiation and supplier management, demonstrating effective cost-saving strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and forecasts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to solve problems efficiently.
