Job description

Job Title: Purchase Assistant

Job Location: UAE

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Coordination: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  2. Order Management: Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
  3. Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to avoid shortages.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and reports.

Skills:

  1. Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  2. Strong knowledge of inventory management practices.
  3. Familiarity with vendor management and sourcing techniques.
  4. 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role.
  5. Basic understanding of supply chain processes and market trends.
  6. Competence in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
