Key Responsibilities:
Media Relations:
Develop and nurture relationships with key media contacts, journalists, influencers, and bloggers to secure media coverage and raise the organization's profile.
Coordinate media outreach, conduct interviews, and handle press inquiries professionally and promptly.
Organize media events, press conferences, and briefings to generate positive press coverage.
Press Releases and Article Writing:
Write clear, engaging, and accurate press releases, articles, and other communication materials to promote company news, product launches, events, and key initiatives.
Tailor press materials for different audiences, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and messaging.
Pitch story ideas to media outlets and secure editorial placements.
Strategic PR Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive PR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Create and execute PR campaigns to increase brand visibility, reputation, and awareness.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for media coverage.
Measurement and Reporting:
Track media coverage, monitor PR campaign effectiveness, and generate detailed reports on media impact, sentiment, and key metrics.
Analyze the ROI of PR activities and suggest improvements for future initiatives.
Work closely with the marketing, social media, and content teams to align PR efforts with broader organizational strategies.
Support internal communications efforts to ensure staff are well-informed about public-facing activities and key messages.
Event Coordination:
Assist in organizing and managing events, including press events, product launches, and other company activities to maximize media coverage.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications.
Proven track record of successful media placements, press releases, and article writing.
Strong network of media contacts, journalists, and influencers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
