A Proposals Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing proposal development activities for the organization. This includes reviewing request for proposal (RFP) documents, coordinating with internal stakeholders, creating proposal content, and ensuring timely submission. The Proposals Coordinator should have exceptional organizational and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. They will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling proposals that meet client requirements and showcase the organization's capabilities.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze RFP documents to understand client requirements and expectations.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, and subject matter experts, to gather information for the proposal.
Develop proposal outlines, templates, and schedules to streamline the proposal development process.
Write, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and coherence.
Coordinate and manage the proposal review process, incorporating feedback from various stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with proposal submission requirements, including proper formatting, documentation, and signatures.
Maintain a library of proposal content, templates, and boilerplate language for future reference.
Track and report on proposal progress, including wins, losses, and pipeline opportunities.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in proposal development.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in proposal coordination or similar roles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
