Proposal Manager Water Treatment

Position Overview: As a Proposal Manager at the company, you will be handling the process design and proposal creation for various inquiries and tenders. This includes generating P & I diagrams, layout diagrams, and cost-effective proposals for industrial water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, desalination plants, and pumping stations. You should also be capable of preparing Techno Commercial Offers, demonstrating a strong technical aptitude. Additionally, you should be proficient in preparing pre-bid queries, attending pre-bid meetings, and participating in techno-commercial meetings with clients and consultants, collaborating closely with the marketing team. Should have experience in managing a team of 3 people.

Salary: upto AED 20,000

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assessment and evaluation of tenders & industrial enquiry of water & wastewater treatment, highlighting key requirements & risks to management and building ideas on project winning strategy.
2. Design, estimate and prepare offers/contracts for water & wastewater treatment systems.
3. Design of ETP, STP, WTP, UF/RO, Pumping stations.
4. Familiar with reverse-osmosis (RO) design software like ROZA, Wave Dow membrane, IMS Design for Hydranautics membrane.
5. Preparation of Mass balance, Ionic balance, plant layout, PFD, P&IDs & Hydraulic flow diagram.
6. Interpret CAD drawings and coordinate with CAD technicians in the preparation of drawings.
7. Control philosophy & SOP for the process design.
8. Preparation of technical & commercial proposals as per client requirements with best technologies.
9. Prepare specifications and purchase requisitions for plants and equipment, evaluate quotations, and select vendors.
10. Preparation of both technical & commercial bids for the online tendering within tender deadlines.
11. Participate in government tendering for the technical & commercial negotiations.
12. Meet with clients for technical & commercial discussions & finalization of orders.
13. Costing & Estimation of civil quantities & electromechanical equipment, Preparation of BOQ.
14. Conduct data analysis, report writing, and presentations to clients and agencies.

Qualifications:

1. School & Graduation - BE/B. Tech. (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical).
2. Good Communication skills in English.
3. Min 8 years experience in a professional water and wastewater treatment company in proposal engineering.
4. Should have independently handled Proposals for Large Turnkey Projects and/or on BOOT basis.
5. Demonstrated Technical aptitude to interpret specifications for projects.
6. Should have sound Commercial Knowledge and Excellent Verbal/Written communication skills.
7. Skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
