Project Sales Specialist - Sanitaryware/Ceramic Tiles

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to create various customer accounts and business development.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the construction, hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors.
  • Promote and sell a range of ceramic tiles, sanitaryware, and related products to architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Manage the sales pipeline for large-scale projects, from initial lead generation to final delivery and payment.
  • Provide technical and product advice to clients regarding design, specification, and application of ceramic tiles and sanitaryware.
  • Coordinate with the internal project management and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of products on project sites.
  • Regularly follow up with clients to understand their future project needs and provide updates on new product offerings.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales campaigns, and product catalogs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field. (Diploma or equivalent in Architecture/Interior Design is a plus)
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of sales experience, preferably in building materials industry, focusing on ceramic tiles, sanitaryware, or similar products.
  • In-depth understanding of ceramic tiles, sanitaryware, and related products, including industry standards, trends, and installation processes.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, with the ability to develop new business and manage long-term client relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and visit project sites.
