Job Description

  • Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans aligned with the project’s requirements.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Prepare and manage procurement documentation, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), contracts, and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and adherence to contract terms, proactively addressing any issues to maintain project timelines and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and teams to understand project requirements and ensure procurement activities support project objectives.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management without compromising quality.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to vendor selection and procurement processes, establishing contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit purposes, ensuring transparency and accountability in all transactions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform procurement strategies and decision-making.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the procurement process.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with a strong academic background.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within a project-based environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and tools, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making.
  • Experience in managing procurement processes for large-scale projects, showcasing an understanding of project dynamics and timelines.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to secure advantageous terms and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages being a significant advantage in global sourcing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex information and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in procurement practices.
