Project Planner

To support in maximizing the company’s sales and profitability to make sure that branch stock availability is carried out efficiently and products supplied in full and in time.

Responsibilities include:

1. Work closely with sales to define monthly forecast using sales inputs and generates historical data.
2. Carry out all the department’s communication and follow up.
3. Lead forecasting process regarding accuracy and timing.
4. Review actual demand versus forecast based on month-end data.
5. Analyze and follow up outstanding customer orders, inventory deviations from targets, non-saleable and maximum shelf life period (MSP) stocks and on-time/late shipments.
6. Monitor FCA and make sure to follow up monthly sales.
7. Prepare for SOP meeting and be part of decision making.
8. Monthly monitoring on stock, alerting expired and damaged items, and sending action list to HO.
9. Maintain MSL in store according to agreed terms.
10. Follow up on the shipping schedule from the suppliers to monitor the order status.
11. Issue alerts on order receiving dates to update stocks and plans.
12. Maintain a close update on target achievement with Sales/Customer and relative rebate calculations while copying accounts department.
13. Ensure proper filling of all the department transactions and communication with HO.
14. Coordinate with HO to reduce lead time in cases of urgent stock requirements.
15. Make sure that shipments are received in full and in good quality.
16. Control and follow up all POS and/or VAS processed material regarding forecast, demand, and delivery in accordance with inventory related issues.
17. Follow up with HO/customers on all damages or shortages.
18. Follow up on backlogs, take part in shortage management.
19. Create and define project goals and objectives.
20. Estimate the project timeline and ensure teams adhere to delivery dates.
21. Ensure the project has adequate staff to complete each stage on schedule.
22. Provide comprehensive project data to teams to help them work more effectively.
23. Assist the project manager to improve performance and efficiency.
24. Document and maintain records on project scheduling processes.
