Project Manager (temporary)

DESIGN HAUS MEDY is an award-winning architecture and interior design practice based in Dubai. DHM works internationally on commissions including boutique hotels and restaurants, retail spaces, and luxury residential. As we continue to expand our portfolio and take on exciting new projects, we are on the lookout for a talented and motivated Project Engineer to join our creative team.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:
   • Assist in developing plans, timelines, and budgets.
   • Coordinate with designers and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
   • Organize and schedule project meetings, site visits, and design presentations.
2. Budget and Cost Control:
   • Coordinate procurement of materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes as needed for projects.
   • Monitor project budgets and ensure expenses stay within agreed-upon limits.
   • Keep track of all project expenses and work with the finance team for invoicing and billing.
   • Identify and address cost overruns and recommend solutions to stay within budget.
3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
   • Ensure projects meet company quality standards and design specifications.
   • Oversee the completion of projects to ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
4. Project Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, contracts, and budgets.
   • Prepare and distribute regular reports on project progress to management.
5. Team Collaboration:
   • Work closely with designers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate project tasks.
   • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is often required.
• Prior experience in interior design, construction, fit-out, or a related industry is required.
• Experience in project management or project engineering roles is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure work meets design specifications and quality standards.
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) can be beneficial.
• Valid UAE Driving License.

Job Types:

Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay:

AED 7,000.00 - AED 10,000.00 per month
